Nicholas Petrovski

Nick advises clients on a variety of business transactions including commercial real estate matters, company formation and wind down, employment agreements, purchase and sales, construction contracts, commercial finance and regulatory compliance.

After graduating law school, Nick worked as counsel for the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Division of Financial Institution, where he worked on behalf of the Department to ensure compliance with state and federal financial regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Truth in Lending Act, RESPA and anti-money laundering regulations. He was also involved in guiding the Department's and the State of Illinois' policy regulating virtual currency and blockchain technology. 

Prior to joining Grogan Hesse & Uditsky, Nick worked at a local firm providing counsel to both public entities and private clients on a variety of transaction and litigation matters including land use and zoning, regulatory compliance matters, construction contracts and premises liability matters. In his free time, Nick enjoys travelling and spending time with his wife and two kids.
