Mr. Oliver joined Garelli, Grogan, Hesse & Hauert as an associate in 2014 following his graduation from The John Marshall Law School. While attending law school, Mr. Oliver was employed full-time at Bank of America Corporation working in the derivatives and foreign exchange trading industry. At John Marshall, Mr. Oliver teamed with practicing attorneys in the school’s Business Enterprise Law Clinic in advising closely-held businesses on establishing their companies and guiding them through transactional matters.
Mr. Oliver actively participated in John Marshall’s Moot Court Honors Program, which included competing in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition in trademark law where he was awarded second best oral argument and third place overall in the nation in 2014. He also received two CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for Contracts and Patent & Trade Secret Law. In addition to his juris doctor, Mr. Oliver received a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from John Marshall.
Mr. Oliver earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Manhattan College in 2007. He currently serves as his alma mater’s Chicago alumni representative.
Mr. Oliver grew up in Troy, New York, and currently resides in Chicago. While he greatly enjoys attending ballgames on both the north and south sides of town, he remains ever loyal to his hometown Yankees.
